We just learned a lot of awesome new things in the latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 but there is little doubt that fans are already hyped up for next week! The official title and release date for Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 has just been announced. In addition to that, the key visual from the fifth episode of Yukaku-hen teases an epic fight!
The key visual for Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 was shared by the franchise's official Twitter account. The image simply shows a close-up of Tanjiro Kamado's sweaty face. However, if you watched today's episode, you would know that there is a lot happening in this shot!
Yukaku-hen Episode 4 saw Tanjiro confronting Daki as she tried to hide Koinatsu Oiran in her obi. Although the Upper Rank 6 Demon threw the boy out of the room, she was impressed to see that he had actually survived the impact.
When Daki attacks him again, Tanjiro manages to slice off the part of the obi where the demon had hidden Koinatsu. At this point, Daki is impressed with Tanjiro and eager to kill him.
The episode concludes with Tanjiro in his fighting stance and it looks like he's in for a huge fight in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12. But will Tanjiro manage to face off against Daki without his companions? He probably won't get help right away but the episode title does confirm that things are about to get flamboyant once again.
It has been confirmed that the Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 title is Things Are Gonna Get Real Flashy!! ("Dohade ni Ikuze!!"). It's a reference to Tengen Uzui's comment in the manga's Chapter 79 and that means so much more action next week.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 12 will also be delayed by 15 minutes. The episode will air on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 11:30 PM JST.
