It's Demon Slayer Sunday once again and that means it's time for the most exciting episode of Season 2 so far. After all, the previous episode concluded with Tanjiro Kamado facing off against Warabihime Oiran, who turned out to be the Upper Rank Six demon named Daki. Needless to say, fans are expecting an epic showdown in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 12. But will Tanjiro manage to defeat the Obi Demon without the help of his sister Nezuko or his friends Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and Tengen Uzui?
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12: What Happens in the Fight Between Tanjiro and Daki?
In Yukaku-hen Episode 4, Tanjiro caught Daki as she was trying to take Koinatsu Oiran in her obi. This led to the demon attacking Tanjiro, throwing him out of the house. However, the young Demon Slayer stands his ground and challenges her, managing to slice off a part of the obi that contained Koinatsu. The episode then concluded with Daki telling Tanjiro that she likes his aura.
It's clear that there will be more of the fight in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 but it's a risky one for Tanjiro. We already know that Upper Rank demons are truly powerful and even Rengoku Kyojuro struggled to defeat Akaza even though he is a Hashira. With that in mind, fans are worried that Tanjiro might not be able to defeat Daki. Still, people are hopeful that someone will come to help him in fighting off the demon.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 is also the fifth episode of the anime's Entertainment District arc. It is officially titled Things Are Gonna Get Real Flashy!! ("Dohade ni Ikuze!!"). Yukaku-hen Episode 4 is scheduled to air on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 11:30 PM JST.
