This Sunday is truly an emotional rollercoaster for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans. The latest Season 2 episode Set Your Heart Ablaze is the final episode in the Mugen Train arc and viewers witnessed the death of Rengoku Kyojuro all over again. However, a new teaser for the Entertainment District arc has also been dropped and people are already looking forward to its first action-packed episode!
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 7 concluded with Rengoku almost killing Akaza. However, the demon escaped at the last minute, leaving the fatally wounded Flame Hashira in his haste to get away from the sunrise. Before he died, Rengoku gave Tanjiro Kamado important messages to relay to his father and his younger brother. He then passed away after seeing a vision of his mother expressing her pride for her son.
It's a truly emotional conclusion (even Inosuke was crying) and there is little doubt that the young Demon Slayers will need some time to cope with their sadness. However, there is no time to rest as the teaser for the Entertainment District arc confirms they need to face another powerful Upper Rank demon.
The Entertainment District arc will bring Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke to the Yoshiwara red-light district where the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui needs their help. A demon has turned the district into her own hunting ground and she has found the perfect disguise. Can the Demon Slayer Corps stop her before it's too late? Or will her dark secret turn out to be too much for the young warriors?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is now referred to as Yukaku-hen because of the new arc. The eighth episode, which is titled Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui ("On Bashira Uzui Tengen"), will premiere on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
