It's finally time for the next Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 arc and that means a new mission for Tanjiro Kamado, his sister Nezuko, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira. So what can we expect in Yukaku-hen next week? The key visual for Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8 teases a new journey for Tanjiro and Nezuko. In addition to that, the episode's official title and release date have been revealed.
The key visual was shared by the official Demon Slayer Twitter account right after the latest episode concluded. The image features Tanjiro once again carrying Nezuko's box and looking toward an unseen goal. Check it out below.
Although it is unclear what Tanjiro is looking at, there is a possibility that he is once again on the road and heading for an important location. Could this mean he is on his way to visit Rengoku Kyojuro's family to share the messages the Flame Hashira left for his father and little brother?
The tweet also confirms that Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8 will be titled Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui ("On Bashira Uzui Tengen"). This means we will immediately get to see Uzui drafting the young Demon Slayers for a new mission. However, it is still possible that Tanjiro will first visit Rengoku's family where he could learn about an ancient technique similar to his own family's Hinokami Kagura.
The latest episode of Demon Slayer Season 2 concluded the Mugen Train arc which ended with Rengoku's death. Episode 8 is then set to kickstart the Entertainment District arc, which follows Uzui and the young Demon Slayers as they investigate a demon working as an oiran in the Yoshiwara red-light district.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 8 is titled Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui ("On Bashira Uzui Tengen"). The new episode will premiere on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
