Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Games Officially Announced for PS4 and Mobile Devices

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently one of the most popular anime out right now, thanks to its gorgeous presentation and solid story that has managed to capture the hearts of many anime fans. We're all still waiting for the second season, hopefully with the same type of animation that swooned over so many, but it looks like fans will have video games based on the anime to play with next year.

Interestingly enough, there are two new video games announced; Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Keppuu Kengeki Royale for mobile devices and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan for the PlayStation 4. The mobile game is a multiplayer-focused survival title that will divide players into the Demon Corps or the Demons as they aim to destroy each other. Meanwhile, the PS4 game will essentially be a retelling of the anime, maybe with some elements from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2.

For those that haven't given Demon Slayer a chance yet, you really should. Not only does the anime have some of the best animation you'll ever see but it also has a good story about a young boy who wants to avenge his family and cure his sister of her demon curse. While not groundbreaking, the anime is pretty engaging and has some of the best fight scenes you'll ever see.

The Demon Slayer mobile game is slated for release later this year, while the PS4 game will be coming out next year. No Wester release dates have been revealed, as of this writing.
