It has almost been three years since the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime premiered back in 2019 and the franchise wants to give back to the fans who have made it so successful. The anime is getting an awesome two-day fan event in April to celebrate the show's third year anniversary! The upcoming event also got a cool new key visual featuring the major players in festive outfits!
The announcement was made by the official Demon Slayer Twitter account along with the new key visual. The image features the young members of the Demon Slayer Corps including Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira. They are joined by the Hashiras Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui. Check it out below.
The anniversary event will kick off with the Entertainment District Arc stage on April 16, 2022. The stage event will feature Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kito, Hiro Shimono, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Katsuyuki Konishi. The voice actors play Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tengen, respectively.
In the second day April 17, 2022, fans can expect a stage celebrating Demon Slayer's Mugen Train arc which will still be attended by Hanae, Kito, Shimono, and Matsuoka. This time, they will be joined by Kyojuro Rengoku voice actor Satoshi Hino.
It's an awesome way to celebrate Demon Slayer's third anniversary and also an exciting idea for fans. After all, there is a possibility that the stages will feature some new updates on Demon Slayer Season 3, which is already expected to drop in Winter 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
