Two weeks ago Netflix dropped the very first trailer for the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the site's dark reboot of the classic American sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Now it looks like the streaming platform has a brand new featurette giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at Netflix's highly anticipated supernatural television series.
In the video, fans get to learn more about what the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has to offer. A direct adaptation of the 90s comic of the same name, the series showcases the life of Sabrina Spellman, a young half-witch and half-mortal who has to make a decision to choose between the witching world of her family or the human world that she has with her friends.
Mirinda Otto, the actress behind Zelda Spellman explains that her niece Sabrina is torn between the two worlds she loves and the path she's going to take. This struggle is going to be the central conflict in the series, and in one clip we learn that Sabrina makes a decision to attend the academy so that she can put an end to the Dark Lord.
It's a pretty exciting series. Not only does Sabrina promise the same kind of levity fans came to love about the original Sabrina series, but it also promises a whole lot of darkness and edge. But that's not all. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina also promises to showcase strong and unapologetic women that come in the form of Sabrina as well as her aunts Hilda (Lucy Davis) and Zelda.
We can't wait to binge on this new Sabrina series.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is scheduled to premiere on October 26, 2017.
