Deadpool Star Ryan Reynold’s Jokes About Importance of Celebrities During the COVID-19 Outbreak

Ever since the Coronavirus Outbreak has forced people to work from home and quarantine themselves, celebrities have gone on social media to post up PSAs and reminders to their fans. Of course, Ryan Reynolds had to put up his own message, and he does so in spectacular fashion.

Check it out:

If anything, Reynolds is probably playing on the fact that a lot of celebrities are kind of not handling this outbreak really well. Vanessa Hudgens just went under fire for posting a rant about how death is ‘inevitable' for everyone, and Ant-Man's Evangeline Lilly was also bashed for refusing to self-quarantine herself and her kids.

Besides PSAs, Reynolds has also gone active with this fight against the virus and is offering 30 percent of his profits from his own brand of gin—Aviation Gin—to bartenders who are currently out of work because of COVID-19. It's more helpful than gathering a bunch of other celebrities to sing Imagine, I guess.

While we don't know when Reynolds will return as Deadpool, we do get to watch him in a film called Free Guy which is set to for a release in July. Hopefully, the outbreak doesn't lead to a delay, because the June titles are already getting pushed back.

A bank teller called Guy realizes he is a background character in an open world video game called Free City that will soon go offline.

Catch Reynolds in Free Guy which is set to hit theaters on July 3.
