Fox might have missed the chance to drop a brand-new preview for Deadpool 2 during the big Super Bowl game yesterday, but it seems like the Merc With a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) isn't letting that keep him from joining in the fun during this year's NFL championship game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.
The official Deadpool Twitter account sent a flurry of tweets yesterday, showing off the Wade Wilson's bright and colorful commentary on the game. As usual, the Merc with a Mouth's got razor-sharp wit, and the vigilante goes on to talk about how sports events "centered around a bunch of muscular, athletic men manhandling a leather ball has my vote."
"The shiny tights are just icing on the cake," Deadpool adds.
However, as Wade Wilson goes on, he seems to lose interest in the actual game, making fun of the game by editing a photo of a couple of coins (one of which shows his ass) and then going on to talk about how much he loves the color Pink which is "the color of the inside of people's outsides and that lady biker gang from Grease."
The Tweets might not be the new trailer fans have been drying to see during this year's Super Bowl, but the posts do remind that the Merc with a Mouth's still around to wreak havoc with his wit and his humor.
