Deadpool 2 will finally hit theaters this week, and it looks like critics are loving it!

Shortly after the review embargo lifted on Fox's highly-anticipated R-rated Marvel sequel, Deadpool 2 became Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, receiving 84 percent on the Tomatometer, tied with Avengers: Infinity War's score.

The site's critical consensus reads:

"Though it threatens to buckle under the weight of its meta gags, Deadpool 2 is a gory, gleeful lampoon of the superhero genre buoyed by Ryan Reynolds' undeniable charm."

Deadpool 2's score is a slight improvement to the first Deadpool's Rotten Tomatoes score, which got 83%.

Despite the early rumors about how the film was badly-received in the early screenings, Deadpool 2 managed to win the hearts of critics, and it looks like fans are in for an exciting sequel this week.
