Deadpool 2 promises to bring us fan-favorites Cable and Domino to the big screen for the first time with Zazie Beetz playing the luck-altering mutant. As it turns out, we'll be seeing more of Domino onscreen apart from the upcoming Deadpool film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Beetz is currently signed on for three movies, with Deadpool 2 bring the first; we know that Domino is also set to come back for the X-Force film, but for now we don't know what third movie Domino is set to appear in.
Though the casting of Beetz was met with fan backlash, I think it all really boils down to Beetz's chemistry with Ryan Reynolds. With Reynolds known to do some improv from time to time, the production will also need a Domino quick on her feet when it comes to wit.
Hopefully Domino finds her way to the hearts of fans when we see more of her in the Deadpool sequel. Sure her look isn't faithful to the classic Albino lady from the comics, but I'm digging the afro and white spot. I have a good feeling that Deadpool himself will also address the casting at some point in the film.
Deadpool 2 is currently se for a release on May 18.
