DC Universe Announces Its Plan To Provide FULL Comic Catalogue To Its Subscribers

DC fans are in for a treat this year because it looks like DC is planning to release DC Comics' entire online smorgasbord of comic books on DC Universe, Warner Brother's newest streaming service.

DC Universe just formally announced the major development during a panel at this weekend's WonderCon (Screen Rant). Not only did the panel confirm that thousands of single-issue comics would be made available to subscribers of the streaming site, but DC Universe also announced that new comics would be added regularly into the existing archive one year after its print publication date.

One year might seem a bit long to comic book fans, but this allows subscribers to check out comics without necessarily purchasing them. Not only will DC Universe subscribers get the chance to read classic comics like Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen, but they'll also get the chance to check out newer films in the franchise like the DC Rebirth comics.

"From the time DC Universe launched last year, our fans have loved the comic experience and have asked us for just one thing - more! We're thrilled to respond to our fans yet again with the incredible value of the ultimate DC digital comics library," DC Universe Senior Vice President and General Manager Sam Ades said during the panel.

This is definitely great news for DC fans. Subscribing to DC Universe not only provides you with great DC content like Titans, but it also provides the opportunity for fans to go through great DC comic titles. Talk about bang for the buck.
