Long-time fans of Batman have always known Bruce Wayne as a billionaire playboy who's been involved in several characters throughout his run — from Selina Kyle to Vicky Vale. However, it looks like DC Comics is making some serious changes to the character some folks might not be ready for.
In Batman: The Knight #5, strong clues were dropped that the Wayne Enterprises heir might actually be bisexual. One of the panels from the said comics features an interaction between Bruce and a guy named Anton and things seemingly turned intimate in a hurry. But just as the two were seemingly poised to lock lips, Bruce and Anton were interrupted.
Unsurprisingly, the revelation regarding Wayne's possible bisexuality in the comics While some fans understand that comic book giants like Marvel and DC are promoting diversity and inclusivity in their products, a lot of folks still raised their eyebrows and found this potential change rather questionable. As it stands, DC Comics has yet to address the matter but given how it's become a hot topic within the comic book fandom, it wouldn't be surprising if the company released an official statement to either confirm or deny the speculations.
Personally, I totally understand why such "changes" need to occur and it's not like it will stay like that forever. If anything, to me, it's just another reimagining of the character.
