I think it's pretty safe to say that the newly-formed Warner Bros. Discovery merger is truly committed to giving the fans what they want. Just last week, the entire DC Extended Universe fandom was shaken to its very core when it was reported that a Man of Steel sequel is finally in the works, nearly 10 years after the original film premiered in theaters.
What's even more thrilling is the fact that WB Discovery is said to be determined in bringing Henry Cavill back not only for the sequel but for future DCEU projects as well. As it stands, the production company has yet to make things official but the latest DC developments have surely given everyone renewed hope.
Naturally, news surrounding Man of Steel 2 also led to the fandom becoming more hopeful that director Zack Snyder will also make his triumphant return to the franchise he helped launch a decade ago.
On Twitter, DC fans kickstarted a new movement urging WB Discovery to reinstate the Justice League director. The hashtag #BringBackZackSnyder quickly gained traction on the social media platform amid rumors of Cavill's Superman cameo in Black Adam. Check out some of the reactions below:

Considering the whole Snyder Cut movement produced results, it wouldn't be too farfetched to believe that his new campaign will deliver the same outcome, especially with Walter Hamada out of the picture. Of course, it's still up to David Zaslav at the end of the day but with the company ushering in a new era where the fans' collective voices matter, things are definitely looking promising.
Meanwhile, Black Adam is screening in cinemas worldwide.
