Ever since DC Universe: Rebirth revealed that there are actually three Jokers roaming around the main DC U, fans have been curious about when this particular story thread would be told. The legendary Geoff Johns will tackle this in 2020's Batman: The Three Jokers, with acclaimed Detective Comics artist Jason Fabok illustrating the comic. We know that this will be a big series but Fabok has just hyped it up even more.
Over on Twitter, Fabok stated that the ending to Batman: Three Jokers is the gutsiest thing ever done in the character's 80-year history. When you consider everything that Bruce Wayne has been through in his various incarnations, that is saying a lot. It's a pretty ballsy thing for Fabok to say, especially if the story ends up being a stinker, but we'll check how it does first before jumping to conclusions.
Batman has been through a lot, from losing his father figure Alfred, to Catwoman getting cold feet when they were supposed to get married, and witnessing his ward Dick Grayson get shot in the head. This is only everything we've seen in recent years since Batman has also witnessed various things, like being transferred in time and seeing his protege resurrected as a crazy vigilante.
More big things are set to happen when Tom King steps away from Batman and the Dark Knight will have to deal with the repercussions from City of Bane. Villains are expected to come at him one after another, so we can add that to the additional stress of being a superhero.
Batman: Three Jokers doesn't have a release date but is expected to come out in 2020.
