Netflix's steamy Mexican drama Dark Desire (Spanish: Oscuro Deseo) recently returned with Season 2, and it continues to take the #2 spot overall in Netflix's Top 10 global rankings, and #1 in 5 countries, but fans who have already devoured all 15 new episodes are craving for a third season.
Created by Leticia López Margalli, the first season of Dark Desire was originally released in July 2020 with 18 episodes, and at one point, it became the most-watched debut season of a non-English series in Netflix's history. : If you haven't watched the series, here's a brief synopsis: “Married Alma spends a fateful weekend away from home that ignites passion, ends in tragedy and leads her to question the truth about those close to her.”
Unfortunately, in the trailer released in September 2021, Netflix confirmed that Season 2 will be the final season, so it looks like the streaming giant currently doesn't have plans to renew the series.
Now, fans have taken it to Twitter to share their desire to make Dark Desire Season 3 happen, with some of them expressing their dissatisfaction for the ending of Season 2.
