Just when you thought Avengers: Endgame would mark the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it only paved the way for a major franchise expansion as Marvel Studios has now officially entered the world of television.

What critics initially thought to be a major gamble from a business and fanatical standpoint ultimately paid off thanks to the unprecedented success of WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and it pretty much tells you that viewers are ready to take any MCU content they can sink their teeth into. It also goes to show that Marvel can't do anything wrong at this point.

Speaking of Marvel Studios' Disney+ expansion, one of the most-anticipated series that is hitting the streaming platform soon is the standalone Moon Knight series led by Star Wars and X-Men actor Oscar Isaac. Production for the series is already underway in Budapest and according to a new report, the show's cast will be adding a familiar Marvel actress. The Ronin reports that Arab-European actress Dina Shihabi is being eyed by Marvel Studios for an undisclosed role. The star previously appeared on Netflix's Daredevil series as Neda Kazemi.

Considering Shibabi only had a minor role in the now-defunct Netflix series, the chances of her reprising a role that was specifically created for Daredevil seems unlikely. If anything, she'll most likely be taking on a completely new role and hopefully, it'll be a far more compelling character than the one she played in the non-MCU series.

No official release date has been announced for Moon Knight.
