Daredevil Season 3: Vincent D'Onofrio Shares Interesting Thoughts About Kingpin

Netflix dropped a bombshell when it was announced that Daredevil season three would be coming out this year. Many figured it would get a 2019 release along with The Punisher season two since there are already three Marvel Netflix seasons that were shown this year. However, that isn't the case and fans are looking forward to Matt Murdock's return, as well as Wilson Fisk who many know as The Kingpin of Crime.

On Twitter, Kingpin actor Vincent D'ONofrio randomly decided to share his thoughts about the character, which many are seeing as a possible hint to his arc in the series. He mentions how much the character cares for his wife Vanessa and the "constant state of emergency" Fisk feels when he's not with her.

D'ONofrio's portrayal of Wilson Fisk was one of the most praised aspects of the first season, as he somehow made the villain despicable, vile, yet sympathetic to an extent. Some people were even rooting for him during his fight against Matt Murdock since he does have good ideals. All of it is just buried under too much trauma and anger, hence his reliance on crime.

The third season of Daredevil brings back Kingpin after he was arrested in the first season and made zero appearances in season two and The Defenders. Netflix said the show will come out later this year but didn't give a specific date.
