Daredevil Season 3 Has Major Wolverine Connection

Daredevil season 3 ended up being a big success, with fans loving some of the developments that came from it. It was fairly eventful, with the biggest thing coming from it being the debut of Agent Poindexter, who will eventually be known as the assassin called Bullseye. What fans did not expect was a big connection to one of the biggest X-Men characters ever made; Wolverine.

SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING OF DAREDEVIL SEASON 3

After a savage beating from Wilson Fisk left Poindexter paralyzed, he took an experimental procedure to fix his back with Cogmium Steel. Making it Adamantium would have been a nice reference but we did get another one in the form of Doctor Oyama, who is doing the procedure. For those unaware, Doctor Oyama is the man who perfected Adamantium and is the father of Wolverine's long-time enemy Lady Deathstrike.

Having this character is a huge easter egg, though a lot of fans probably didn't recognize it at first. The Netflix shows have made references to the bigger side of the MCU before but having a connection to characters who haven't debuted yet is huge. No one expected it to happen and it would be great seeing someone like Wolverine or Lady Deathstrike interact with Daredevil.

Rumors have been going around about the X-Men and/or Fantastic Four debuting sometime after Avengers 4, which hasn't been confirmed yet. While Kevin Feige will eventually get control of these characters, we're going to have to wait a while for these characters to be a part of the MCU.

Daredevil season 3 can be streamed right now on Netflix.
