We learned today that Daredevil: Born Again is undergoing a creative reboot and starting from scratch again after Marvel Studios reviewed the footage that was shot prior to the actors' strike and realized that the series was not working at all.

As a result, they let go of the writers and directors that were previously attached and are looking for new ones to take over the project and rethink the original intention of the series.

It is part of the bigger new strategy that Marvel Studios is now implementing on its TV productions after facing internal criticisms on their previous approach where there was no showrunner overseeing the project from beginning to end.

Now, one of the stars of the series has addressed the report and gave his two cents on the project's current situation.

In response to a fan who called out his previous statement regarding Daredevil: Born Again that "aged poorly," Vincent D'Onofrio, who is set to reprise the role of Kingpin, addressed the reported creative reboot of the series on X.

While he didn't directly respond to the claims of the report, he iterated their intention to make a great TV series out of it.

"Unless you really know what's going there's a chance you could be wrong about this statement. We are going to bring forward the best series we can. One we can be proud of. Have some trust my friend, trust," the actor wrote in his post.

In a follow-up post, D'Onofrio explained that the constant changes are normal in films and TV productions and it's not actually a big deal. He would have been more worried if they settled for lesser quality.

"Every cool project I've been involved with has evolved constantly during pre-production, production, and post. It's just reported on these days as if it's big news. It's not," he wrote.

"It's simple a bunch of creatives doing their best to get it right. It's a constant in this business. I wouldn't have it any other way. Frankly, I'd be worried if we were settling for less."

As the actor pointed out, creative changes are indeed normal in any film and TV show that gets made although, since it's a highly-anticipated MCU series, it becomes major news for fans, especially since the changes that they're making are more massive than usual.

In the end, what's important is that this creative overhaul will lead to better quality and end up becoming rewarding for both the people involved and the fans who will watch it since this is one of the MCU's most highly-anticipated shows.
