Daredevil: Born Again Set Photos Show Matt Murdock With Mysterious New Character

Daredevil: Born Again has finally begun production and the first photos from the set of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series are making their rounds all over social media. Interestingly, one of the pictures features Matt Murdock with a mysterious new character who will be introduced in the highly anticipated Disney+ show.

The Daredevil: Born Again set photo was shared on Twitter and it shows Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock outside what appears to be a courthouse. Interestingly, the blind lawyer is accompanied by a new character who will be played by Nikki M. James. Check it out below.

It has already been confirmed that Nikki M. James is joining the cast of Daredevil: Born Again. However, the identity of the character she will portray has not yet been revealed. Judging from the set photo, it appears that James has been cast as one of Matt Murdock's new colleagues considering that Karen Page and Foggy Nelson will not be in the series.

A previous report confirmed that Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson will not reprise their roles from the Netflix Marvel shows. In addition to that, Vanessa Fisk has been recast and will be portrayed by Sandrine Holt (the character was originally played by Ayelet Zurer).

Although some characters are not returning in Born Again, fans can rest assured that Frank Castle will show up in the series. It was previously reported that Jon Bernthal will return as the Punisher in the reboot.

Daredevil: Born Again will also star Vincent D'onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin who had previously returned in Hawkeye. The series will consist of 18 episodes in its first season alone.

Daredevil: Born Again has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is expected to premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
