Dakota Johnson's Madame Web Gets Spider-Man-Inspired Logo as Production Nears Completion

We already know that Madame Web has been in production for some time now and it looks like we're finally getting an interesting update on the movie. The logo for the Sony Pictures project has surfaced and it takes inspiration from the Spider-Man films.

A Reddit user found a photo shared by one of the Madame Web crew members and it shows the women wearing hats emblazoned with the film's logo. Check it out here.

It's a simple logo but it's also similar to Spider-Man's recent logo for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Needless to say, it pretty much confirms Madame Web will be closely connected to Spider-Man although it is still unclear whether Peter Parker will make an appearance in the project.

It's an exciting update considering that it will be a very long wait for Madame Web. It was previously reported that the movie will be delayed along with Kraven the Hunter to late 2023 and early 2024. Kraven the Hunter, which was initially set to hit theaters on January 13, 2023, is taking Madame Web's initial release date of October 6, 2023. In turn, the Dakota Johnson flick is now moving to February 16, 2024.

Madame Web is another character with ties to Spider-Man. In the comic books, Cassandra Webb is a clairvoyant who can see within the "spider world" and connect to characters with similar abilities. Cassandra will be played by 50 Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson and the film will also star Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet.

Kraven the Hunter will hit theaters on October 6, 2023. Madame Web is scheduled for release on February 16, 2024.
