Daisy Ridley Still Has No Clue What’s In Star Wars: Episode IX

Lucasfilm might be starting production on Star Wars: Episode IX this summer, but Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley still has no clue about what might happen in the sequel to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The British actress just recently spoke with RadioTimes about the third and final installment in Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy, and though she admits that she doesn't know much about Episode IX, Ridley says she appreciates the little break that she gets to take while waiting for filming to begin.

"Is there a sequel? Oh my god!" Ridley joked teasingly. "I've heard nothing about it. I hopefully will soon. It's interesting, because after the first one came out we literally went straight into the next one, so there was no time to think about it. And now I'm like, 'Huh, I wonder what I'm going to be doing for six months.'"

Fans might be curious what direction J.J. Abrams is going to take Episode IX in after the events of The Last Jedi, but right now it looks like Lucasfilm is still working on the marketing campaign of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the studio's second spinoff movie.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently available on Digital HD and will be made available on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 27. Star Wars: Episode IX is set for release on December 20, 2019.
