Despite a big delay that will result in CD Projekt Red deploying crunch time on their developers, Cyberpunk 2077 is still one of the most anticipated games of 2020. The fact that we're getting this game on the current-generation of consoles as a new one is coming is pretty nuts. True, it is getting a next-gen update that should look nice for PS5 and Xbox Series X buyers but we're glad that they're still looking out for PS4 and Xbox One owners.
Anyway, the game has been submitted for its official ratings and we're excited to see what it will end up getting. Considering the kind of content and themes it will be dealing with, most of us are expecting Cyberpunk 2077 to get an M for Mature rating, which wouldn't be a huge surprise. Most of the best AAA games are M-rated anyway, including CD Projekt Red's own The Witcher series.
This game is going to have a lot of sex, drugs, and violence so if this somehow gets a T for Teen rating, that will be crazy. It won't though so expect a big old M for this game so don't let your kids play it.
Fans will be able to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 on September 17 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also be coming out on PS5 and Xbox Series X on a later date.
