Cyberpunk 2077 Fan Film From Darth Maul Apprentice Creators Releases Amazing Teaser

Cyberpunk 2077 is looking more awesome than ever and we can't wait to see what happens in the upcoming CD Projekt Red event coming out next month. While we wait for the game to come out this September, some fans have decided to make a movie about Cyberpunk 2077, and judging by this teaser trailer, it looks fantastic. Fan Films are nothing new to people who have been around the internet for ages but when they have effort, money, and love put behind them, people take notice.

As it just so happens, this upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 Fan Film, called Phoenix Program, is coming from the same people who made the excellent Darth Maul Apprentice short movie. That movie managed to nab the attention of 25 million viewers on YouTube, which isn't easy to do, given the adpocalypse and all that.

Unfortunately, while the teaser looks excellent, the movie itself won't be coming out in a while. COVID-19 has struck, as many of you know, and it has made things difficult for everyone out in the world right now. Since staying at home is the best thing people can do right now, we don't blame them for putting this movie on hiatus.

Here's hoping that the wait will be worth it, though judging by that teaser, it should be. As for the game itself, Cyberpunk 2077 is slated for a September release for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. It is also being planned for a next-gen release, though no release date for those has been unveiled.
