In an interview with TheWrap, Zelda Williams revealed that The Creature's suit in the final scene of Lisa Frankenstein was a tribute to her late father and Oscar-winning actor-comedian Robin Williams.

Particularly, the character's costume worn by Cole Sprouse was a homage to Robin's iconic rainbow suspenders in his hit sitcom Mork & Mindy.

"He’s wearing rainbow suspenders. I just wanted a moment, in a world where death isn’t permanent, to honor pops. So it was funny because I’m like ‘Wow, no one’s seen it,’ but I love that too. It’s so subtle," she explained.

She added that "it makes me kind of happy" that they were able to make the homage subtle but still decidedly present.

Before Robin Williams became an iconic Oscar-winning actor and comedian, he starred in the hit sitcom Mork & Mindy for four seasons from 1978 to 1982.

Serving as a spin-off of Happy Days, it follows Williams' Mork, an extraterrestrial being who comes to Earth from the planet Ork, and his relationship (which later on becomes romantic) with human friend Mindy (played by Pam Dawber).

Williams received an Emmy performance for his performance in the first season. However, the series was canceled after four seasons due to a steady decline in the ratings.

Despite that, as we all know, he became a beloved comedian and major movie star in the years following the show's end and now he is known for his many iconic roles in films such as Good Will Hunting and Mrs. Doubtfire.
