Cowboy Bebop Original Anime Cast Returns for Live-Action Netflix Series

Fans of the original Cowboy Bebop anime are in for an awesome treat. The upcoming live-action Netflix series is getting a Japanese dub, as confirmed in a new teaser. Amazingly, the Japanese dub will feature the voices of the anime's original cast including veteran actor Koichi Yamadera!

The new Cowboy Bebop teaser was shared by the Netflix Japan Anime Twitter account and it proudly announces that the anime's original voice actors will reunite to provide the live-action show's Japanese dubbing. The tweet also teases a special message from Koichi Yamadera that will be shared at the Anime Day event later this week. Check it out below.

It's awesome to hear those familiar voices once again. Yamadera's voice still has that moody tone that made Spike Spiegel a true brooding icon. Needless to say, we can't wait to watch Cowboy Bebop with the Japanese dub next week!

Koichi Yamadera will return as Spike Spiegel. He will be joined by original cast members Taiten Kusunoki as Jet Black, Megumi Hayashibara as Faye Valentine, Norio Wakamoto as Vicious, and Gara Takashima as Julia.

Tsutomu Taruki and Miki Nagasawa are also confirmed to return as Punch and Judy while Takaya Hashi will be back as the Teddy Bomber. You'll also get to hear Kenyu Horiuchi as Gren, Masako Isobe as Mao, and Romi Park and Hikaru Midorikawa as Shin and Lin.
