Could Solo: A Star Wars Story Have A Connection To Boba Fett?

Solo: A Star Wars Story is just a little over a month away from its release, and Lucasfilm's been trickling out information about the spinoff's heroes and villains, including the mysterious crime lord, Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany).

Empire Magazine just recently released a couple of new images from Solo: A Star Wars Story, and in one of the pictures that the publication's rolled out, fans get to see Dryden Vos alongside what seems to be red Mandalorian armor set on display in the crime lord's chambers. With a helmet that looks like a whole lot like Boba Fett's, the armor's presence in the photo reignites discussion over the possibility of the bounty hunter's appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Last year, Solo director Ron Howard also shared a photo with Bettany taken from the same set in December, sparking rumors that Boba Fett would be appearing in the upcoming Star Wars spinoff.

Though it's clear now that the Mandalorian armor doesn't directly belong to the iconic Star Wars bounty hunter, we wonder whether the armor might still have some sort of connection to Boba and his father Jango Fett. After all, the armor's helmet does have the exact same shape as the bounty hunter's. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Solo: A Star Wars Story premieres May 25, 2018.
