Could Daisy Ridley Be In A Future Cloverfield Film?

Paramount has continued taking the shock advertising route with the Cloverfield franchise, so fans are already speculating on future installments, especially after the multiverse reveal from The Cloverfield Paradox. While fans are still waiting for Overlord, the next installment that is set in WWII, theories are already popping up about the fifth film and it could have Daisy Ridley of Star Wars fame.

In an intensely researched Reddit post, fans are speculating that the upcoming remake of Kolma is actually going to be a Cloverfield film. Kolma was originally a 2003 Israeli TV series, so seeing how this will be related to the J.J. Abrams sci-fi series is going to be interesting. Keep in mind that Paradox was also tight-lipped and fans were never 100% sure it was a Cloverfield film until the Superbowl ad. Ridley has already been confirmed for Kolma, so we could see this come out sometime after Star Wars: Episode IX.

According to the theory, based on the updated Tagruato site that is set in the film's universe, the Israeli article seen in the background is the big giveaway. Translations claim that the article talks about a road that was closed down for mysterious reasons, which is somewhat similar to the plot of Kolma.

The theory claims that the film's final name will be something like Fields of Clover, once again avoiding numbering to tell (mostly) self-contained stories. 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Cloverfield Paradox did it, so this film could do it as well, assuming that the theory is true of course.

The Cloverfield Paradox can now be streamed on Netflix.
