Connie Nelsen Reveals Her Favorite Stunt Was Cut From Justice League

Justice League might have had its moments, however, the DC Extended Universe team-up movie was littered with issues because of its problematic production. While the most prominent issues with the film was the characterization of Batman (Ben Affleck) and the obvious sexual objectification of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), it seems like production issues also cut Hippolyta actress Connie Nelson's favorite stunt.

Speaking in an interview with Coming Soon to discuss the Snyder Cut of Justice League and other DC issues, the Wonder Woman star reveals a major stunt change made in the movie. While her scenes were shot by Zack Snyder herself, her favorite stunt in Justice League was left on the cutting room floor when the filmmaker decided to leave post-production in the hands of Warner Brothers who turn passed on the film to Avengers director Joss Whedon.

"My absolute favorite stunt was cut from the film, and I'm having a hard time accepting that, it was so cool. I got to run up a wall and pivot in the air, and as I pivoted on my way down I speared one of the monsters," Nelsen revealed in her interview with the entertainment news site, "I literally did that for weeks to get that, and then they didn't put it in. They took it out, they put it in, they took it out… It's my great regret because I love stunts, I love being a badass in a film like that, and then sorry that the audience didn't get to see that part of the cool Amazon fighting techniques, because they were very cool!"

Seems like Warner Brothers and Whedon made a whole lot of changes to Justice League. The past few days Snyder has been busy on Vero revealing several scenes that he had shot for the film that never really made it in the movie. It's no wonder DC fans are adamant over the Snyder Cut.

Justice League is available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
