Earlier this week, a new rumor saying that tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will go on sale this Monday, Oct. 19, and this could be marked with a new trailer for the highly-antiicpated sci-fi saga sequel. Reports provided vague details, but now some new solid information on the new The Force Awakens trailer release has emerged along with ticket sales buzz and the official poster.
Germain Lussier at io9 did some digging, and has heard from multiple sources that The Force Awakens hype will warm up with an official poster release on Sunday, Oct. 18. According to Lussier, the new poster will feature the official logo for the film.
But the poster is just an appetizer as the new The Force Awakens trailer will reprotedly be out on Oct. 19, sometime around 8pm Eastern time. We previously reported that it wil debut during Monday Night Football.
Finally, shortly after the release of the new trailer, tickets will will be available for sale around 8:30pm Eastern. Tickets available for purchase will be for shows starting at 7pm Dec. 17, the night before its official U.S. theatrical release date.
