Coen Brother’s Production Designer Jess Gonchor Joins Gambit Spinoff

It looks like 20th Century Fox is working hard to make sure that Gambit rolls out on time. The X-Men spinoff finally has a production designer – one of the Coen Brother's collaborators, Jess Gonchor.

With the film set for a February 2019 release, more casting information and crew hiring info has been making its way online, and according to a new report by Omega Underground, Gonchor has just joined Gambit's creative team.

Gonchor is an Oscar-nominated production designer who's mostly known for his work with the Coen Brothers, and his credits include films like No Country For Old Men, True Grit, Inside Llewyn Davis, Burn After Reading, Live By Night, Moneyball, and A Serious Man. That's not all. Gonchor's also worked alongside Channing Tatum and Gore Verbinski on films like Foxcatcher, Hail, Caesar! and The Lone Ranger.

Gonchor did a lot of good work on Hail, Ceasar! and all the other film's he's worked on, providing a lot of memorable production sets. Gambit made a good choice hiring Gonchor.

Fans have been waiting for the Gambit spinoff for a long, long time, and now production is expected to start sometime between January and February next year with some of the filming to set out in New Orleans.

Gambit is scheduled to premiere on February 14, 2019.
