Cobra Kai stars, Jacob Bertrand and Peyton List, have confirmed that they're dating, and talked about what it's like doing it with a co-worker. Cobra Kai is a Netflix Original series and spin-off of the Karate Kid movies. The show follows Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) 34 years after the events of the Karate Kid movie.
TMZ reported that Bertrand and List recently confirmed their relationship and shared what it's like dating while also working together on Cobra Kai. Bertrand, who plays Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz in the show, admitted that they've actually been dating for a while and have been best friends even longer. The pair worked together when they were teens, starring in the Disney channel original movie, The Swap. This is the first time that Bertrand has ever dated a co-star, and he says that this is just a "trial by fire" that he is willing to take.

We've been dating for a while. I've never dated anyone I've worked with before. This is almost trial by fire. We've been friends for a while. I met her when I was like, 15. I was actually tight friends with her brother Spencer, so that was kinda awkward to be like, 'Hey man, I like your sister.' But yeah, we had fun on set and then hung out off-set.
List, who plays Tory Nichols in Cobra Kai, also talked about their relationship, expressing how it was a little difficult to date a co-star. She jokingly said that she'll just deal with the consequences later. The two also joked about which of them would have to leave the show if their relationship causes any issues. Bertrand says that he's not worried about being the one written off the series if things ever go wrong with Peyton.
This is the first time Bertrand and List publicly confirmed their relationship even though they've been linked together for a while now. Prior to their confirmation, the couple had confirmed they shared social media messages with each other and had been spotted frequently spending together off set.
