Expect some fun cameo surprises in Cobra Kai Season 5 when it releases on Netflix later this year. Now, Peyton List, who plays Tory in the Karate Kid sequel TV series, is teasing a celebrity cameo for the upcoming season, and although she can't divulge exactly who joins in on the fun, she says it freaked out the cast because of how impressive it was.
Speaking to ET's Cassie DiLaura, the 23-year-old actress talked about Carrie Underwood's surprise cameo during Season 4. The Grammy-winning star appeared in The Fall episode and sang The Moment of Truth, which was originally performed by Survivor on the soundtrack to the original 1984 The Karate Kid movie
"There are definitely some cameos within season five that I feel like are just as random as the ones we've had before," List told ET. "But yeah, anyone who is a fan of Cobra Kai should come forward now because I feel like the creators will find those messages and just be like, 'All right, let's figure this out.' There's more fighters that are coming on too [and] train people in that space, which was really exciting. The boys were freaking out and they were training us."
List's Cobra Kai character debuted in Season 2. Following two seasons in a recurring role, she became a main character in Season 4.
Cobra Kai Season 5 is expected to release on Netflix in December 2022, but the streamer hasn't announced an official release date yet. You can read more details about the upcoming season here.
