Alicia Hannah-Kim will be joining Netfilx's hit series for Season 5, Deadline reports. She will play a formidable South Korean sensei named Kim Da-Eun who will join Terry Silver's (Thomas Ian Griffith) plans for accelerating the expansion of his Cobra Kai dojos. Working with Silver means that she's probably going to be a major villain in the new season.

After getting rid of John Creese (Martin Kove) out and cheating the results of the All Valley Tournament in the fourth season, Silver will continue his dark plans, and it looks like Kim Da-Eun will cause big problems to whoever's trying to stop them.

Current cast member Dallas Dupree Young, who joined the cast in Season 4 as Kenny Payne, has been upgraded to series regular status for Season 5.

Cobra Kai Season 4 ended with the Cobra Kai students defeating the rival dojos Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang, forcing them to shut down for good. The final scene reveals Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) reuniting with Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto), his former rival and the main antagonist of Karate Kid Part 2.
