Classroom of the Elite is originally a light novel series illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose and written by Shogo Kinugasa. It was adapted into a manga by Yuyu Ichino and was serialized in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive in 2016.
The anime aired in 2017 which will be followed by the sequel in 2022.

What is Classroom of the Elite Season 2 About?
The whole premise of the school anime Classroom of the Elite focuses on the academic battle at Elite School.
The series follows Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, who appeared to be an introvert from class D. The objective of the government is to take full control of its education system and implemented an education hierarchy wherein students are categorized into A to D, based on their performance.
Based on where season 1 ended, Classroom of the Elite season 2 will start with volume four of the light novel or the Cruise Ship Special Test arc.
Since it has been emphasized that Ayanokouji is good at observing people and manipulating them using his intellect, he will do the same to achieve his goal.
The upcoming season will also give screentime to other side characters like Kei Karuizawa, Yosuke Hirata, and Kanji Ike. Fans are hoping that this season will answer some of their questions like Ayanokouji’s past.

Classroom of the Elite season 2 will premiere in July 4, 2022, joining the Summer 2022 anime line-up.
It has also been confirmed that a season 3 will be available by 2023, adding to the excitement of the show’s viewers.
If those were not enough, fans can expect that the same voice actors will be present in the second season like Shouya Chiba who plays Kiyota Ayanokouji, and Yurika Kubo who voiced Kikyou Kushida.

Where to Watch Classroom of the Elite Season 2
The first season of Classroom of the Elite is available on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
After the merger of Crunchyroll and Funimation, it was no longer a surprise that Crunchyroll will be streaming the upcoming season as announced during the Sakura Con event on April 16, 2022.
As for the dubbed version, only Funimation offered this version before. Fans are hoping that because of the merge, there is a possibility that Crunchyroll will release an English dubbed version of season two in the future.
What Studio is Producing Classroom of the Elite Season 2
The sequel will be returning with Studio Lerche. The same staff will be working on this project, including the directors, scriptwriters, and even the composer. With this, fans can expect the same treatment as before.
As of this writing, ZAQ will be performing the the OP (series opening) while Mai Fuchigami will perform the ED (series ending). No song titles have been released yet.
