Christopher Nolan's Next Movie to Star Robert Pattinson and John David Washington

Christopher Nolan is a master of modern cinema, and after Dunkirk, everyone is waiting to see what kind of project he has down the pipeline. As it turns out, he's just cast the two leads in his next movie.

According to Collider, John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman) and Robert Pattinson (Twilight) will be starring in Nolan's next film which has been described as a "massive, innovative, action blockbuster." No other details have been said about the film, but it's said that the movie will also include an age-appropriate woman lead as well as an older male co-star.

While it's no mystery that Nolan is a beloved filmmaker, I'm still waiting for him to top the cinematic high that was Inception. Sure Dunkirk was still pretty cinematic, but it didn't have the same adrenaline or intrigue that we would expect from a Nolan movie. Don't even get me started on that whole ‘Love' explanation from Interstellar.

Some are actually speculating that Nolan is working on the Green Lantern Corps movie. Pattinson and Washington could very well be playing the roles of Hal Jordan and John Stewart, and a superhero film could very well be described as an ‘innovative action blockbuster'. I'm not too keen on that being the actual project, but Nolan did wonders with Batman. Who's to say he won't be able to do the same with this upcoming film?

Nolan's next film is set to come out July 17, 2020.
