Christine Quinn reportedly leaves Selling Sunset and will not return for its upcoming sixth and seventh seasons. Though no reasons have been cited, it reportedly comes after the show’s producer made “threatening comments” toward her.

According to reports, the exit was a “mutual decision” between Queen, Netflix, and Selling Sunset’s production company. That said, the sixth season’s filming will continue without one of its major cast members.

Production sources told TMZ that the decision to leave the show was mutual, while TVLine confirmed the exit.

Quinn has been the most controversial member of the show since it began in 2019. She has always been the center of controversy, often feuding with her fellow real estate agents, like Chrishell Stause, Heather Young and Emma Hernan.

In fact, Hernan even accused her of bribing a client not to work with her in the fifth season.

As a result, Quinn didn’t attend their reunion, saying she tested positive for COVID-19, though she was seen working on a commercial days later.

Selling Sunset Producer Allegedly Made Threatening Comments toward Christine Quinn

Page Six claimed that its sources revealed the decision to leave Selling Sunset came after Quinn announced that the show’s producer “made threatening comments” toward her.

An insider revealed that after she aired what she felt about Adam DiVello, she, Netflix and the show’s production company decided it only made sense if she would leave ahead of the sixth season.

On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Quinn told the host Alexandra Cooper in May that the reality series’ producer advised her to “kill” herself after getting into an argument.

“We have to look at what Adam DiVello has done as a whole, as a human being, as the person that he is,” she said. “[He] actually told me to go fall down the stairs and kill myself at one point.”

She added that the threat came after she revealed that the show’s producers were using “editing magic” to create false narratives that would make her look like the villain.

Christine Queen Moving to Bigger and Better Things

Meanwhile, multiple sources also told Page Six that Quinn is ready to move to “bigger and better things” after leaving Selling Sunset.

In fact, she plans to pursue modelling in New York, Milan, and Paris.

“Christine knew this day would come. She’s proud of the work she put in to make Selling Sunset a success, but she could see herself phasing out of the cast even before she began filming Seasons 4 and 5,” a different insider said. “Her goals are far bigger than playing a villain on an ensemble reality series. She can’t wait to start the next chapter of her career and show the world who she truly is.”
