Chris Tucker Just Confirmed Rush Hour 4

It's been more than a decade since the last Rush Hour film hit theaters, but Chris Tucker has seemingly confirmed that a fourth movie is in the works and Jackie Chan is also geared to come back.

Talking to ESPN's podcast The Plug, Tucker said:

"It's happening. This is gonna be the rush of all rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don't ever forget it."

With Brett Ratner being the brain behind the Rush Hour movies, I would expect him to come back and helm, but with all the sexual assault allegations against him made over the past months, I have a feeling that New Line wouldn't want him back on the director's chair.

Based on how excited Tucker sounded during the interview, I have no doubt that pre-production is well underway. Though they're not perfect movies, the Rush Hour films are always good for a laugh, and the action is always great with Jackie Chan onboard.

Though Tucker has been missing in the spotlight for a while, it's nice to see that he's getting back on his feet. His Netflix special was pretty good, but it's different when you see him on the big screen saying ridiculous things to Jackie Chan.

No release date has been announced for Rush Hour 4.
