While Chris Pratt's Star-Lord became one of the most popular heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character received flak from some fans because of a key scene in Avengers: Infinity War. It seems like he's tired of hearing about the criticism too, by sharing a scene from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

In Infinity War, Star-Lord punched Thanos after he found what the Mad Titan did to Gamora. This action resulted in the other heroes missing the chance to remove the gauntlet off of the villain, which got some fans really frustrated. So in a recent watch party for the second Guardians movie, a fan defended Peter Quill's actions at that moment, with the actor replying with an emphatic "thank you!!!"

The fan basically pointed out that what Star-Lord did to Thanos is "completely in-character of him" considering that he also reacted the same with Ego when he found out what he did to his mother. You can check out the tweet below!

As you can see, Pratt agreed with the fan's observations of his character and the scenes. That while his actions resulted in something bad happening, his actions were something that his character would have totally done since he has lost himself in grief to be able to control himself.

While some of the replies agree with the actor, other fans think that it is still "infuriating" even though it is in-character. However, whether or not you felt angry with Star-Lord because of that scene, this also shows that Marvel effectively made this character have a strong emotional connection with the audience.

Do you agree with the fan? Or are you still angry at Peter Quill? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
