Chris Hemsworth Wants Thor to Crossover Deadpool 3 for a Hilarious Reason

In just less than one month, Chris Hemsworth is set to return as the fan-beloved God of Thunder in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. While fans can't wait to see Natalie Portman's exciting return as Lady Thor and Christian Bale's menacing Gorr The God Butcher, Hemsworth is seemingly interested in another massive crossover with a fan-beloved Marvel character.

During an interview with BBC 1 Radio's Ali Plumb, Thor: Love and Thunder star Chris Hemsworth opens up about his extended term as the MCU's Thor. Plumb compared Hemsworth's career to Hugh Jackman's 17-year run as the X-Men's Wolverine, in which Hemsworth claims, he could beat that record. “I wasn’t gonna, but now that you’ve put that in front of me, you make a good point it’s only six years. I’ve come this far… To turn back now would just be a waste so…," Hemsworth said.

The conversation then shifted to Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool 3, particularly about not letting Jackman do a cameo in the threequel.

“Ahhh… then it’s… yeah, no... I don’t know. I might make some calls to make sure that doesn’t happen," the actor added. “Might put myself in Deadpool instead. That would be the offering I think, you know… see if that passes. Yeah.”

Well, let's hope that Marvel executives are all ears to this delightful interview. If they eventually decide to include Thor in the Deadpool 3, this would be the first-ever Marvel crossover Wade Wilson would have, and will also serve as an official arrival of the hero to the world of the MCU. More importantly, fans would certainly pay a huge amount of money to see this hilarious crossover of two beloved Marvel characters, if ever it happens.

However, for now, fans have to wait for a little longer as Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool 3 is still under development. Meanwhile, Hemsworth's Thor: Love and Thunder will premiere in theaters on July 1.
