COVID-19 might have forced Marvel to shut down the production of its upcoming titles like TheFalcon and the Winter Soldier, but there's no stopping the enthusiasm over the upcoming Disney+ series with new details making its way online.
Marvel writer Rick Remender just recently revealed an early design for Falcon's (Anthony Mackie) Captain America costume, and while we may not get to see the outfit in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, we can't help but drool over the design.
Taking to Twitter, Remender decided to show off the look that he wanted for Sam Wilson as Captain America.
"Here we have Carlos Pachecos first Sam Cap design, next to a rough I did on a photo of my take, then Carlos' revised design, then my further notes," Remender wrote in his post.
Check out the design down here:
Sam Wilson looks really cool as the new Captain America. Unfortunately, while fans are eager to see Falcon take on Captain America's (Chris Evans) mantle after inheriting the shield from Steve Rogers in Avengers: Endgame, set photos from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier suggest that US Agent may take on the role instead. Marvel has yet to confirm US Agent as the new Captain America, so we can't be entirely sure though.
Let's wait and see.
Production for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been shut down due to the spread of COVID-19. We're all hoping that the pandemic dies down soon so that everyone can live their lives the way they used to and so that production can begin again for highly anticipated Marvel titles.
