Check Out These Loki & Thanos Villainous Pumpkins for Halloween

Nothing says "Halloween" quite like a Jack-o-lantern. But instead of the usual slit eyes and jagged smile, Marvel has something cooler in store for you.

Over at Twitter, the company has released a video that shows off Marc Evans and Chris Soria creating two villainous pumpkins, bearing the image of a trickster Loki (that smirk shows he's up to no good) and Thanos, whose menacing grin and glint in his eye say he's only got tricks up his sleeve.

Evans and Soria are the founders of the Maniac Pumpkin Carvers. Apparently, the company began as a hobby, but we see just how professional-looking their creations can be.

The video is basically a time-lapse of artists carving out the images of both Loki and Thanos onto pumpkins. It's only a little over a minute, and it's really more fascinating to watch than it is to do.

But if you want to try it yourself, don't forget your own time-lapse video, because this one's just gorgeous. Damn that shading—how can you even have levels of shading on a pumpkin? Layered cuts?

I'd love to have one of these around. They would make for some really awesome lighted pumpkin lanterns around the house.
