Check Out the Final Trailer for Illumination's The Grinch

How the Grinch Stole Christmas was an animated classic, and even if you've loved the Jim Carrey version, there's no doubt that Dr. Seuss books take their best form in animation. This Christmas will see another reboot of The Grinch via Illumination, and we just got the final trailer for the film.

Here's the official description:

The Grinch tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl's generous holiday spirit. Funny, heartwarming and visually stunning, it's a universal story about the spirit of Christmas and the indomitable power of optimism.

I think the movie actually looks pretty great. Seuss' characters just translate so well in this form be it from Horton Hears a Who or The Lorax. The design of the Grinch looks fantastic, and you have to love how adorable the rest of the characters in the film are. I bet everyone will be wanting a stuffed toy of the Grinch's dog Max.

Just like the Ron Howard movie as well, this animated version looks to have some updated humor. The story may be a classic one, but you can't help but bring it a bit closer to the modern day. I also think the visuals are executed beautifully, and every joke in the trailers has landed pretty well so far.

Catch Benedict Cumberbatch as everyone's favorite Christmas grump when The Grinch hits theaters Nov. 9.
