Check Out Poster for Netflix's Iron Fist 2

Though he may not have started off as one of the more beloved Marvel Netflix shows, Iron Fist is a hero audiences are slowly learning to love. Danny Rand is set to return for Season 2 this September, and we have a new poster of him flashing the Iron Fist along with Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick).

This time around, Danny is set to clash with another disciple from K'un-Lun, Davos—who in the comics is known as the Steel Serpent. What's weird is, in the comics, the Iron Fist that Davos clashed with was Wendell Rand, Danny Rand's father. He still clashes with Danny eventually in the comics; I guess it makes his connection to Danny more personal if it was them who were rivals in K'un-Lun.

When Iron Fist first came out, I didn't understand the backlash at all. First of, there were the people who had wanted someone Asian to take on the role—which didn't make sense because Danny was American in the comics. Then there were people complaining that it didn't live-up to the rest of the Netflix shows.

Personally, I thought that whatever flaws people were pointing out, they were present in the other Marvel Netflix shows too. When it comes to Iron Fist, I'm just in it for the kung fu action. Compared to Daredevil's gruff style, Iron Fist's movements are more fluid, and Finn Jones does a great job bringing the character to life.

Catch Iron Fist 2 on Netflix Sept. 7.
