Check Out Cover for The Art of Captain Marvel Book

A new trend has come out with blockbuster movies where they release a book containing all the concept art for the film. With Captain Marvel set to come out in March, MCU concept artist Andy Park shares the cover for the upcoming The Art of Captain Marvel book.

What I really like about the cover is how it lines up all the relevant characters in the film. With a bit of editing, you could even sell this as the official poster for the movie. I even like how the Starforce are all teamed up at the very bottom. If there's anything to be excited about in the film, I'm hyped to see what kind of soldier Carol Danvers was when she was working for the Kree.

Admittedly, the hype doesn't feel as built up for Captain Marvel. I guess it's because all the focus is on the release of Avengers: Endgame. With March still a few months away, Marvel still has time to release all the promos and get everyone pumped for Marvel's first woman-led movie.

Captain Marvel is surely more obscure compared to Wonder Woman, but that doesn't mean she can't win the hearts of a new generation of fans. I guess we'll just have to wait for the movie to find out how well she does.

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, "Captain Marvel" is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8.
