One really cool thing about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie is that they were able to incorporate her ‘mohawk helmet' into the Kree suit. Now we have a new image of ‘Vers' in the movie with her full green armor get-up.
Based on the latest trailer, the helmet will also be an available feature for the costume after we get the signature red and blue colors. No doubt Carol Danvers will find a new outfit come Avengers: Endgame. It's tradition for each hero to get new outfits with every film. Otherwise, how would they be able to sell new toys?
Just looking at the photo though, I have no doubt that this is going to be happening in the first third of the movie. We have to watch what Vers' life in Starforce will be before she is sent off to Earth and realizes that she was actually a human all along.
I'll be honest, it doesn't feel like the hype for Captain Marvel is building up that high at all. Though some are excited to see the first MCU film to headline a woman, I think everyone is just too focused on seeing what happens in Avengers: Endgame. Besides, Captain Marvel is admittedly a more obscure hero when you compare her to the likes of Wonder Woman.
The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, "Captain Marvel" is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8.
