Charlie Hunnam Expresses Interest To Return To Sons Of Anarchy Franchise But How?

Though it has been nearly eight years since Sons of Anarchy ended, Charlie Hunnam has expressed his interest in returning to the franchise. However, how will it happen with the death of his character, Jax Teller?

The Sons of Anarchy finale saw Jax die when he decided to sacrifice himself to save his family and the club. From there, Hunnam became a huge star and started doing several movies to his name. However, it looks like he's about to return to the franchise that made him famous.

Charlie Hunnam to Return to Sons of Anarchy Franchise

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Hunnam hinted that he was in talks to make Jax Teller come back to life.

In fact, he's now in the early stages of "exploring" his return to the Sons of Anarchy franchise.

"I have an idea that I'm exploring in its infancy where that could be a possibility," he said. "It would be something that I would be incredibly excited about, so we're sort of, like I said, in the infancy of exploring the viability of the idea."

How Will Charlie Hunnam's Jax Teller Return to Life?

With the fame and success the series has brought to Hunnam, it can't be denied that a lot of fans want to see his return.

The actor, too, has already expressed his return to the series. But with the death of Jax, how can that happen?

His death wasn't a major cliffhanger. It was conclusive. It even played a big role for the franchise moving forward with the spinoff Mayans M.C.

The series, which started in 2018, takes place after the events of Sons of Anarchy. So, there's no way Hunnam can make his appearance here except for flashback scenes.

With that said, a new series can be set on the earlier timeline before Sons of Anarchy happened.

So, even if it seems hard to bring Jax back to life, Hunnam appears to be open to all the possibilities.
