Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa drops major details about Riverdale Season 7, which seems to reference a controversial movie of today.

The CW is now getting ready for Riverdale Season 7, which will serve as the last and final outing of the series. Now, Aguirre-Sacasa reveals the title of the final season's premiere episode, which looks very intriguing.

Riverdale Season 7 Premiere Episode Title Revealed

In a post on Instagram, the screenwriter revealed the title of the new season's first episode, hinting at what might happen in the premiere.

The title Don't Worry, Darling was written by Danielle Iman and Aguirre-Sacasa himself. It was directed by the series' director/cinematographer Donald Paul Richard.

Evidently, it has the same title as Olivia Wilde's controversial movie of today, which is marred by several controversies—though the comma sets them apart.

Though it's unclear if the show's writers are only poking fun at the Harry Styles-Florence Pugh film, it may have something to do with Cole Sprouse's Jughead.

For starters, after Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) successfully stopped Bailey's Comet from annihilating Riverdale, everyone was sent back to the 1950s.

No one knew what happened except for Jughead, who only had his memories intact. So with the premiere episode's title, it looks like he will try to convince everyone that they aren't supposed to be in the 1950s era.

Riverdale Season 7 Production and Premise

ScreenRant noted that the new season's production would begin in October. That said, fans can expect more details about the final season coming out in the coming weeks.

So, what will be Riverdale Season 7's premise?

Though the artwork in Aguirre-Sacasa's post may not mean anything, fans shouldn't find it surprising if the upcoming season would feature multiple timelines and realities.

The previous season turned more fantastical, so Riverdale Season 7 might take advantage of that, especially since the characters were taken to a different time period.

Sure, the series never lacks plot twists, but it will be interesting to see what the final season has in store.
