Chainsaw Man: Tatsuki Fujimoto's New Manga Goodbye Eri Reveals Interesting Key Visual

Tatsuki Fujimoto is ready to present another compelling story. The Chainsaw Man creator's new manga Goodbye Eri has been officially announced along with a key visual introducing an interesting new female heroine.

Chainsaw Man editor Shihei Lin shared the news on Twitter by revealing the official title of Tatsuki Fujimoto's new 200-page manga. In addition to that, Lin dropped the key visual for Goodbye Eri which features the dangerous femme fatale that Fujimoto had previously hyped up. Check it out below.

Goodbye Eri will be a one-shot manga following a mysterious new character and although fans are loving the update, some are also a little disappointed that the new story isn't a Chainsaw Man spin-off. There have been speculations that Tatsuki Fujimoto was working on a spin-off manga that would focus on someone like Makima since the mangaka teased that it would be about a "femme fatale."

But is there any chance that we'll finally get a new update on Chainsaw Man Part 2? For now, it has only been confirmed that the second part of the manga will begin serialization in the third quarter of 2022. Hopefully, we'll get more details about the School arc ("Gakko-hen") in the next few months. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

2022 is turning out to be a busy year for Tatsuki Fujimoto's works. It has already been reported that the Chainsaw Man anime will premiere sometime this year. There is a good chance that it will be dropped after the manga's second part begins serialization.

Goodbye Eri will begin serialization of Shonen Jump+ on Monday, April 11, 2022. The second part of the Chainsaw Man manga is expected to be released in Fall 2022 while the anime is set to premiere later in the year.
